Indie space shooter Everspace is getting a major expansion on Xbox One and PC. Called Encounters, the expansion will bring a healthy dose of new content to PC players at the end of October, while Xbox One players can dive in starting in February.
Everspace developer Rockfish says that Encounters will add 'over 10 hours of extra gameplay to the core game.' A major part of Encounters will be the arrival of a new player ship, called the Colonial Sentinal. Classed as a medium fighter, the Colonial Sentinal will pack some 'serious electronic warfare capabilities.' It also features a special shield that has twice the capacity of the standard model.
